- QSAR techniques for chemical characterization,
process engineering, and modeling fate and transport of organic contaminants
in the environment;
- Treatability studies and process engineering for managing organic chemicals
in industrial/municipal wastes;
- Computer simulation of natural and engineered
processes for in-class teaching, research, publication, and consulting.

- Worked/trained in: Sri Lanka, India, Singapore, Philippines, England,
Belgium, France, West Germany, and Switzerland.
- Presented papers in England, Australia, Hungary, China, Norway, Singapore,
South Africa, India and Turkey.
