Minors and other considerations for Civil Engineers:

Math Minor – Take MATH 411G as a Viewing a Wider World elective, and you’re there!

Survey Engineering Minor – A traditional partner of Civil Engineering, and it enables you to pursue licensure as a Professional Surveyor.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Minor – Civil Engineers are increasingly reliant on GIS, and this is a good credential.

Agricultural Engineering Minor – For those of you interested in agriculture, irrigation, and natural resource management; best for Water Resources Engineering option.

University Honors – A few options to have “Honors” and/or “Distinction” tacked onto your diploma.

ROTC, AFROTC – While I was in the Peace Corps, some of you may be interested in the War Corps.
