schedule will be quite irregular. We are subject to the vagaries of weather,

Course Objectives: The course is
intended to teach the principles of irrigation and drainage so that students
will have the understanding and analytical tools to handle highly diverse
problems. Technical, environmental, economic, legal, and societal
considerations all go into the solving of irrigation and drainage related
problems, and we attempt to touch on all of them. The focus of the course is
design, but several basic concepts and skills are necessary first. Designs will include surface, sprinkler, and
drip irrigation systems, as well as drainage design.
