Go to the WERC Homepage
Graduate students may enroll in additional elective courses which are made available by the WERC Web-CT program. Specific course offerings vary but generally include subjects related to ground water hydrology, air pollution, radioactive waste management, legal aspects of environmental and natural resource management, risk assessment, and transportation of hazardous materials. Graduate students should contact the WERC office (646-2038) in early March and October to obtain a listing of course offerings for the Fall and Spring semesters, respectively. Courses received from UNM and NMIMT are selected to compliment courses and research programs available at NMSU. The WERC Web-CT program offers the student the opportunity to take advantage of resources and expertise at partner institutions along the Rio Grande corridor which are not available at NMSU.
