Technical support, training, grants?

Mr. Norris explained to the students the role of EPA and its stand working with the Tribes.

He lectured on the primary sources (ground and surface) of water supply, history of drinking water protection, state and federal regulations, and source of water protection. The students learned in basic terms the primary and secondary drinking water standards.

Mr. Norris explained to students ground and surface drinking water systems- pumping, treating storage and distribution.

Dale Mitchell (student) took notes while Mr. Norris explained the Surface Water System.

 

Training and Documentary videos on drinking water systems were shown to the students. The videos discussed on compliance, protection of water source, inspection of the distribution systems, communication and working together to achieve the same goal “our safe drinking water”
